Admin Restaurant Intelligence (ARI) review
Runs rotas, training, receipts and daily service for a restaurant from one login.
Reviewed 2026-09-23
Pros
- Built specifically for restaurants, not adapted generic HR software
- Live labour cost and overtime warnings while you build the week
- Training completion and certification tracked automatically
- Replaces several separate tools and chat groups with one login
Cons
- £350 a month is significant for a single small site, and it recurs
- The AI insights and savings figures are shown as sample screens with no evidence behind them
- Page does not state refund terms, setup time, or what staff and site limits the price covers
What you get
A web platform, billed monthly, covering six areas: rota and workforce, staff training with tracked certifications, daily operations and checklists, payroll and receipts, reporting across sites, and an alerts layer that flags things like understaffed shifts or rising overtime for you to approve or dismiss.
Is it worth it?
If you currently run your restaurant across a rota spreadsheet, a WhatsApp group, a folder of receipts and a training log nobody updates, this is aimed squarely at you. The pitch is one login instead of five, with the platform watching for problems (a thin Friday dinner, overtime creeping up, allergen training expiring) and putting them in front of you as a short list to approve. The part worth taking seriously is the rota builder showing live labour cost and overtime as you schedule, and training certification tracked automatically. Those are ordinary, useful jobs and they are clearly built for hospitality rather than generic HR. The part to treat as the seller's promise is the intelligence layer. The page shows confidence scores (94%, 88%) and a figure of £1,240 in supplier savings, presented as sample screens with no explanation of how those numbers are produced or verified. Read them as illustrations, not results you are guaranteed. At £350 a month this is a real operating cost, so it only pays back if you genuinely move your rota, training and receipts into it. Half-adopted, it becomes a sixth tool. The page says cancel anytime but does not state a refund policy, setup time, how many sites or staff are included, or whether payroll and receipt handling covers your country's rules beyond calling itself country-aware.
Before you buy
- Ask what is included at £350 (number of sites, staff cap, whether payroll is extra) and what refund terms apply beyond cancel anytime
- Ask for a trial or live demo with your own rota before committing, and check how long onboarding takes
- Confirm the payroll and receipt features actually match your country's rules and integrate with your existing till or accounting system
Who it suits
Independent restaurants or small groups with enough staff that rota, training and compliance admin is eating management time, and who are ready to move everything into one system
